Three seconds after your crew member goes over the side the system will log a GPS waypoint and just seconds later, an alarm will go off alerting you to the emergency. However, the risks on board aren't limited to man overboard, so Crewsafe offers additional safety features. If a crew member finds themselves in danger, but still on board the vessel, they can activate the manual duress button on every Crewsafe Tag - the small transmitter worn by the crew - to alert captain and crew that they are in distress. Internal network routers also have a panic button for crew to raise a manual alarm from within the vessel.
