Board of Directors
Chairman - Richard Allen
Richard Allen has extensive experience in the international offshore marine oil and gas industries. He held a range of technical and management positions over 20 years with Baroid Drilling Fluids Inc (acquired by Halliburton), culminating in Manager for the Asia/Pacific region with responsibility for operations in 16 countries and a turnover of $80 million.
Previously Managing Director of Tox Free Solutions Ltd (ASX: TOX) and Chairman of Plantation Energy Australia Pty Ltd, Richard remains on both boards as Non-Executive Director. Tox Free Solutions is one of Australia's largest integrated industrial service and waste management businesses with a market capitalisation of ~$216M. The founder of Plantation Energy Australia, Richard built the company into one of the world's largest producers of biomass fuel pellets, used as carbon-neutral fuel in some of Europe's largest coal-fired power stations.
Director - Brenton Scott
Brenton Scott's career includes 14 years as an accounting professional as a partner at Walker Wayland Perth, and later forming Scott Partners where he was the Managing Partner.
Following a successful venture in the childcare market, Brenton accepted the role as Chief Financial Officer for Electronic Banking Solutions Limited (EBS) which grew to become the largest independent deployer of ATM machines in Australia. EBS was successfully on-sold to Cashcard Australia Ltd who in turn was acquired by the U.S. company First Data International. Brenton, who holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, is the Managing Director of Cruisers Yachts Australia and a founding shareholder in Mobilarm.
Chief Executive Officer - Ken Gaunt
Ken Gaunt enjoyed significant commercial success since founding Electronic Banking Solutions Pty Ltd in 1998. As Managing Director, Ken developed the business before merging with Cash Card Australia Limited in 2003.
Ken has been director of Cash Card Australia Limited and is an investor in many successful businesses in Australia and elsewhere. Ken was a board member and Australia’s representative of the ATM industry association and was a member of the customer advisory board of National Cash Register Company Limited.
Senior Management
Company Secretary - David McArthur
David McArthur is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years experience in the corporate management of ASX listed companies. He has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting and Economics double major) from the University of Western Australia. He spent several years with a top-four international chartered accounting firm prior to going into commercial practice.
Specialising in corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and corporate governance, David is currently Finance Director to two public listed companies, and Company Secretary to five. He also sits on a number of audit and remuneration committees.
Chief Financial Officer - Jorge Nigaglioni
Jorge Nigaglioni has over 14 years of experience in accounting and finance roles in both public and private companies. In his last two years at PricewaterhouseCoopers he was involved in auditing and consulting for startup companies.As a Controller at Agilent Technologies, he was involved in turning around two divisions to profitability. Jorge has worked with startup companies and has been CFO in a NASDAQ Bulletin Board listed company.
Jorge has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration from Bryant University. Jorge also holds a Certificate in Governance Practice and Administration from Chartered Secretaries Australia.
