MOB Training Dummy

Bob, our Man Overboard Training Dummy is 1.83m (6ft) tall and weighs 40kg. He is manufactured in the UK by Ruth Lee Ltd, the largest manufacturer of training dummies in Europe.

These training dummies are rugged, realistic in size, weight distribution and handling characteristics and different models are available to suit varying training situations.

Recently modified with the help of Greater Manchester Fire Service, the RNLI and the Royal Navy in the UK, these water rescue mannequins accurately simulate an unconscious person in the water, floating at an angle of 45 degrees with just the head and shoulders visible above the water.

Key Features

• Outer carcass: Heavy-duty nylon open mesh (strengthened with high-density polypropylene webbing) and closed cell foam (does not absorb water)
• Open mesh allows water to flood out of the dummy during recovery and provides better ventilation for drying after use.
• Protective overall is machine washable
• Sturdy gum boots protect legs if dummy is dragged along the ground
