Introducing MoBi-lertProtecting the lives of those in your careMOBi-lert is a crew-monitoring system dedicated to preventing the loss of life at sea. It's designed to enable a quick rescue in a man overboard emergency. At the heart of the system is a rechargeable and waterproof Personal Transmitter Pendant (PTX) that is worn by every person on board and maintains a constant link with your boat. The instant one of your crew is in the water, an automatic alarm is sounded and the vessel's position is logged. On the MOBi-lert 7200 and 7600 systems, a graphic track-back screen immediately appears on the MOBi-lert Console to guide you back to the exact point where your crew member was lost. GPS is used to record the position of the man overboard and provide track back data for instant recovery. Fully automaticBecause MOBi-lert is an active system, anything that breaks the constant link between the PTX and the receiver on your boat will alert the man overboard alarm. This means that if a PTX is broken in a fall or its low battery warnings are ignored the alarm will be raised. The active system means an instant recovery is possible. Award-winning innovationLaunched into the market in late 2004, MOBi-lert was the first Australian product to receive the prestigous Safety at Sea Award at the 2005 Seatrade Awards. A finalist on ABC TV's New Inventors show, MOBi-lert has won numerous other awards both at home and overseas. Most recently MOBi-lert won the Sport and Leisure category in the 2006 Australian Design Awards. |
